ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATOR (ESP)

 

What we perceive as smoke or fumes actually are tiny air-borne particles, the bulk of them smaller than 1 micron in size (submicron particles).

 Electrostatic Precipitators are highly efficient devices especially suited for the difficult task of removing very small particles of smoke from passing exhaust air.

99 % + efficiency is commonly achieved by Air Clean precipitators.

HOW AN ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATOR WORKS

 

1.

Particles of smoke and fumes receive strong electrical charge due to ion bombardment in the ionizing section (zone of charging).

Electrically charged particulate is pulled from the air stream by the force of strong electrical field in the collection section, whereas clean air is allowed to pass through precipitator to the discharge.

 

 

MAINTENANCE

 

Collected material is disposed from collection cell plates by way of cleaning cells periodically.

Because collected material is frequently sticky, it will easily clog all competitive precipitators quickly.

Not with Air Clean Precipitator. Exceptionally wide spacing between collection plates (up to 300 % compared to competition) prevents Air Clean Precipitator from premature clogging and lessens necessity for expensive cleaning maintenance.
